Back to School

Well, school has started and things have been pretty crazy in the Grandstaff household. Claire is adjusting well to daycare and I am too. It has been hard to leave her, but I really love my job. Right now I am driving to Urbana every morning and afternoon to drop Claire off and pick her up. I figured up that I am driving about 400 miles a week right now. Hopefully I won't have to do that much longer. Ryan should be back in Urbana in a couple of weeks. Then he will be taking her. I have a ton of pics to share, but I haven't had time to upload them to the site yet. I will try to work on that sometime soon. Our home connection is just so slow that it takes forever to do one or two at a time. This weekend Ryan, Claire, and I will be going to the Van Wert County Fair. Hopefully we get to see many of our friends and family there and catch up a little bit. I'll let you know how it goes.

Catching up some of the pics from 4 months ago

Getting ready to go home from the hospital
Here is Claire on her second day home,
just hanging out in the clothes basket.
It was the best place I could put her and
keep the dogs off her, and it was easy to
move her from room to room that way.

Now we are jumping ahead. These are Claire's
three month pictures. I think they turned out pretty
cute.

Hello

Well, I have finally decided to try this blogging thing out. I cannot guarantee that I will keep it updated, but I am going to try. This summer has gone so quickly I just cannot believe it. Claire is 4 months old today! She is learning and growing so quickly, it is just amazing! She is our little angel. I am hoping to get some pictures on here tonight. I will be going back to work in about a week and a half, and it is going to be very hard to leave Claire........ but I love my job so that should help some. This year I will be an intervention specialist for third graders! I am really excited about this and I can't wait to get started. Ryan is working for RT Bundy and Associates in Urbana, although he is currently driving to Sidney. They just bought a company there and he will be working there until they move it to Urbana sometime in September. He really likes his job and the company is a really great, family based business. Well, I'll be back on later to post pics.
